VSN FASHIONISTA was this past weekend. My daughter and I love participating In Splitcoast's Virtual Stamp Nights. The theme this time was fashion. We had so much fun with this theme. We only wish we had more time to submit more cards and such. My daughter Kayley 11 did the bottom three. She did them without much help from me. I am so impressed with her abilities. Most important we had fun working together on our projects and spending some "fun" time together.

Here are my daughter Kayley's cards for the VSN.

Here is the invitation I made for my "now" 3 year olds' Princess Birthday Party! Yes, I did a Princess Party! It was actually a lot of fun! I wasn't crazy about doing the Princess thing. Isn't that what all little girls are into right now? Well, I wanted to do something else. But my sweet little girl adores dressing up, make up, dolls, jewelry and the whole nine yards. She had a blast! So it was well worth it!! Anyway, back to stamping. I of course used the Ellzybells Princess Stamp, Your Invited was PaperTreyInk. The paper was Princess Paper from Target.

Does this look like a cute stamp? I wish... this was actually done with an embossing template. The template is by Lasting Impressions. The technique used is called Pasty Razzle Dazzle. I saw this technique on Splitcoast and thought ...I must give this a try. It is actually easy to do. Just a few steps involved. You also need Translucent Embossing Paste. Here is the link to this technique:

Here is a Bella card I did a while ago. I have just not posted. I am going to make up for lost time now. The stamp is called sweetybella.. ! The Friends forever is another Michaels dollar stamp.
As for the paper oh I don't know. Probably from a slab pack. I love the bit of bling on her necklace. This card was alot of fun to make.

Here are couple of cards I made in minutes from the mini acrylic stamp sets from Michaels. They are only $1.00 . I buy a couple each time I go. The other day I was looking through them when my 11 year old daughter brought it to my attention that I have never used them once. Feeling guilty (LOL) I decided right then to stamp a couple of cards. So here you have it! These cards are very simple. But sometimes simple is good. I have more cards to post so hang on. I am making up for lost time. I am also going to have a tutorial soon. Check back. Thanks Jenna

Look
at my new Scrapbook/Stamping Room. This was my Christmas present from my awesome husband. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him I wanted my Scrapbook room and homeschool room redone. I was shooting high not really expecting it. Then on December 18th he and my brother in law came in the room and said ok can we unload this room. I was of course surprised and willing. We unloaded the room and by the weekend my room was complete. New carpet, paint, new shelves, computer desk, new scrapbook/ stamp area with cabinets and drawers, and new pink baskets.
My room was a cluttered disaster before and then when it was complete it was clean and organized. I am totally inspired now. I love it! It was the best gift ever!! I told my husband that it was the gift that keeps on giving.

I made these for my nieces for Christmas. They were a lot of fun to make. Inside is a notebook, a pen, and a little box with candy.

VSN is HERE!!! What is VSN?? It is Virtual Stamp Night at Splitcoaststampers. It began last night Sept 7th @ 7pm and it began today at noon. I have only participated in two challenges so far. The top card is a texture challenge. You were supposed to create a card with texture. It could be raffia, embossing, dry embossing, corrugated, anything. I used my brand new Big Kick
I got from my close friend Angela for my Birthday. I love that thing. It is soo great and it will cut anything I need. The second challenge is a card that involves the theme "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." This is the card I came up with. It is simple but it does fall under the theme. I like to participate in the VSN's because it allows me to stamp for me or just for fun. If you would like to join in any future VSN's just go to SCS's forum section and in the forum there is a thread for VSN. They have one like every 2 or 3 months. They are a lot of fun. This is my second one. Well, I am off to see if there are any other challenges I want to get in on.

I've Been Tagged!

In fact it has been a few weeks since I have been tagged. I have been busy plus I forgot. Here are 7 random things about me.

1) I love candy with caramel: Rollos (Favs), Caramel Creams, Twix, 1000 Grand, Caramel Kisses, Carmellos, Junior Caramels (Newest Fav) .

2) I love Old Houses. It is a secret dream of mine to renovate an old house and eventually move in it. DH says that we are going to die in the house we currently own. (Boo Hoo)

3) I had the opportunity to perform in a drama competition in Seole, Korea. While there I came down with the chicken pox. (Crazy huh?)

4) I married my best friend's brother. How cool is that!!

5) I LOVE Food Network and I watch it ALL the time. It is a great recipe resource, but I have never used one recipe from the network. (What's up with that?)

6) I have the best kids and husband I am sooo lucky! They are my whole world!

7) Friday is my favorite day of the week. It is date night, movie night, and not get up the early the next day night. Woo Hoo!
