I've Been Tagged!

In fact it has been a few weeks since I have been tagged. I have been busy plus I forgot. Here are 7 random things about me.

1) I love candy with caramel: Rollos (Favs), Caramel Creams, Twix, 1000 Grand, Caramel Kisses, Carmellos, Junior Caramels (Newest Fav) .

2) I love Old Houses. It is a secret dream of mine to renovate an old house and eventually move in it. DH says that we are going to die in the house we currently own. (Boo Hoo)

3) I had the opportunity to perform in a drama competition in Seole, Korea. While there I came down with the chicken pox. (Crazy huh?)

4) I married my best friend's brother. How cool is that!!

5) I LOVE Food Network and I watch it ALL the time. It is a great recipe resource, but I have never used one recipe from the network. (What's up with that?)

6) I have the best kids and husband I am sooo lucky! They are my whole world!

7) Friday is my favorite day of the week. It is date night, movie night, and not get up the early the next day night. Woo Hoo!

I know it has been a looong time since I have posted anything. BUT, I have been a busy girl.
My daughter has had soccer camp, there have been Birthdays for family and friends, my other daughter has had dance, I have had church responsibilities, and the list goes on and on. I made this swap in the middle of July. It is another ATC. I used A Muse stamps and Stampin Up paper.
I just went to a Stampin Up demonstrators meeting this past weekend. It was too much fun. I did a lot of fun projects. I can't wait to put them on my blog. There is only one problem. My husband left our camera at work. His work is an hour and a half away in Charlotte. So I have to wait until I get my camera to post more pictures here. Oh well, what can you do.

Time for another BELLA card!! It has been a while since I have posted a Bella!! I love this Cruisin' Bella. My husband asked me if knew the make and year. I was pretty close. I may have been off a year or two. I had a lot of fun creating this car. I can't give details today. My hubby is calling me to get ready. We are heading to the lake today. Have a great Saturday. Oh yeah...
I have been tagged! I will post that later.

I made these two cards a while ago. The black and white look is my favorite. You can almost never go wrong with these colors. The stamp sets I used were Stampin Up and PaperTrey Inc.
The printed paper is from Die Cuts with a View.

Amuse CHALLENGE 7 Card!! These colors are my fav. The frosting is glittery and the cherry is a heart brad. And the little doodles are my own design. Whooops!! I forgot to send it in to Amusepalooza. Father's Day kept me busy I guess.

Here are my swaps for the A muse ATC swaps that Taylor Vanbruggen is hosting. They were a lot of fun to do. Not to mention it was great receiving all of the swaps back. Fun!! Fun!!

Here are two cards created with Rubber Romance Stamps! They have some super cute girly stamps. I still have a wish list going. The paper used in my top card is Basic Gray. All cardstock is Stampin Up'. Speaking of Stampin Up. I placed my order for the new goodies in the preview catalog and they will be here Tuesday. I do not think I can wait! AHHH!
It has been a while since I put a Bella on my blog! I made this card for my very close friend Angela. Inside it I put some Bella images. She hasn't placed her Bella order yet. I used my FAVORITE paper from Doodlebug. I LOVE their products!! I know I have said this before. I also love Paisley. I just can't seem to get enough of it!!

Here is a selection of goodies I made for my Secret Sister. I used Rebecca Paper and Polka Dots and Paisley stamp set from Stampin Up. The coaster box is in the shape of a triangle to use a pen holder. The box was filled with Caramel Creamies ( that is what I call them) I followed the tutorial from SCS. It was very easy to make too!

One more Papertrey Inc. card. I bought this set a while ago and have not had too much time to play. I am thinking this summer will allow me a little time to stamp YAY!!! I have also found out that I stamp best first thing in the morning. Before the events of my day have worn me out.
Stamps: Papertrey Inc. "Green Thumb"
Paper: Stampin' up: Tempting Turquoise & Lavender Lace
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Lavender Lace, & Pixie Pink

Okay, Here is my late Beate's weekend challenge card. Yes, it was due last night. Oh well, I had fun making it anyway!! I used the stamp set from Papertrey inc. It didn't turn out quite how I wanted it. I was a bit rushed. My hubby wanted to get in bed early tonight. We have been a couple of night owl's lately and it is now catching up to us. Goodnight for now....

My New Banner

Okay, I hit the Shabby Princess website to get yet another banner. I am a bit fickle. Who knows how long this banner will last. I came up with name "Paper Petals" from the banner itself. I hope this isn't someone elses' blog title. All of the good banner titles have been snatched up. I have tried very hard to come up with a cute blog title. Here are a few of my favorite titles:

Paperfections
Paper Truffles
Doodlebug
Stamp Paper Scissors
Paper Patch

Oh now I can't remember some of the other fun titles. Oh well, you get the gist. Hope you'll like my new banner. I dooooo!!!!!

I created this bag of course for my mother! I was playing with my sizzix. It was a lot of fun. I haven't used this die before. It is the pansy die cut. I used Stampin Up' cardstock. Brilliant Blue and Bashful Blue. The leaves are Mellow Moss. The Mother stamp is actually CTMH. I hope everyone has a very.....

Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!!!!!
This is my hostess gift for one of the girls in my Stamp Club. The paper is not SU. Which is a big no! no!. But, I did not have any fun printed SU paper at the time. The flower is an SU stamp set and the punched flowers coordinate. It is also SU. The circle punch is the Giga Scalloped punch by Marvy.

I got this cute image from an image swap. I was thrilled when I discoverd this image in the mix. I think it is from Inky Antics. Cardstock of course SU. The paper border at the bottom is Paper Frills by Doodlebug! The paper frills are so much fun to use. I did use my xyron to put an even coat of adhesive on the back. In fact I ran more than one border through the xyron to have them on hand and ready to go for the future.

Be sure to register and visit the A*Muse Blog everyday for challenges and drawings.

Here is a long over due post! I have been sooo busy with kids and life. I have had zero time for fun things. This card is actually cheating. I made this one some time ago. My blog is so boring without new posts. So here is my latest Bella card mixed with Stampin Up. I used SU paper and an SU Hostess Set Riveting. I gave this card to a friend of mine.

Hey Cupcake!!! Is this cupcake stamp adorable or what?? Yes, it is an A Muse stamp. The paper is Stampin Up and the ribbon ..hmmm I can't remember. All I know is I got it at Michaels.
This card is nothing fancy. I was just playing
around.

I realize it has been a while since I have posted any pictures.
I have been so busy the past two weeks. I haven't had much
time to create new goodies. I have had time to "shop" for stamping
goodies. {Yikes} I just put in an order with
Eclectic Paperie and
with
Papertreyink. I can't wait for all of my goodies to arrive.
I will be standing by the door all next week. I am sure no one else
can relate, right??? (LOL) Well, I must sign off for now.

Homeschool is still is in session and the children are waiting
on me.... I am sooo glad it is Friday!! I am ready for the weekend!!

I created this tin for my daughter. She is ten and has caught the passion for stamping. Inside I put cards, envelopes, and a file system. She loves it! She puts a few of her favorite supplies in there and totes it around and creates her little cards and things. After giving three tins away to friends it was time to breakdown and make her one. LoL :)
I created this tin using Doodlebug. paper which is one of my favorite scrapbook companies. The gelly embellishment and the sticker letters are also Doodlebug. This is actually a kit called Loopy Love!

Okay...This is my second Bella today! I am thinking about having a scrapbook sleepover in the future and this card came to mind for the invitation. I used Pajama Bella and took off the teddy bear. Then I added the bag from the Stamping Bella. The printed paper is doodlebug, the punched flower is Stampin Up, the sentiment is the CK font.

My latest Bella card!! It is going the mail today for a friend. I recently got some adorable Bellas in the mail. I haven't had a chance to stamp one image until today! I may get a chance to make a few more. We'll see. Anyway, I have the day off today soooo.... I am getting a little stamping done. Hopefully, I can knock some projects off my list. That is all for now. I must run and get to work. My sweet lil' toddler will be up from her nap before I know it. {smile}

This is my first card from A Muse Artstamps. I bought this cute little chef at ACMOORE. I plan to make a few more very soon. Keep checking back!! Last night I had time to squeeze in one card before I watched LOST with my hubby.

This is what happens when you talk on the phone and let your toddler run free in your stamp room. You will notice this stamp pad is not made by Stampin Up'.
Their pads are toddler proof. This is my 10 year old daughters' stamp pad. My youngest found her way in and then decided to decorate her face. I took cuter pictures but unfortunately they were blurry. The day and life of a stamping mom.

Tuesday, April 03, 2007

Just thought I would show a pic. of my ACMoore shopping trip. I bought my very first A Muse Artstamps! YAY!!! I can't wait to play. They were 25% off too. I need to go back soon and get a few more!! Also, I bought the Crop A Dile!! I will write soon and give all the details as to how I like it or not. The acrylic stamps are actually Provo craft and I bought those on ebay. I really wanted a BBQ/Summer set. The little bottles are Queen & Co. brads very cute colors.
I spent too much for all of this. BUT IT WAS FUN!!!!

I would like to say that I am really enjoying blogging. I wish I was a little more saavy with it. I am afriad that I am not very good. I make boo boos all of the time and then spend hours trying to figure out what I did wrong. This past Friday I had a stamp club night and we did the diorama cards. The girls all had a lot of fun making them. Here are a few samples I had for the girls to look at to get an idea of what they can do with this type of card. I used animals as my theme. These Stampin Up sets are called my fun sets.

This card was created for VSN at splitcoast. I had a lot of fun doing the VSN. This challenge obviously was Faux Postage. I haven't done that technique in a long time. I used Stampendous ice cream cone and Stampin Up Mini Mates set. All paper is from Stampin up. Colored with Prismas and gamsol.
The postage stamp template I got from splitcoast.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/fauxpostage.php Here is the link for the template and the tutorial. It is really pretty easy to do.

Today has been sooo much fun! With the
beginning of the Bella yahoo group I decided to
start stamping. I created this card this after-
noon. I used Basic Gray Paper and Stampin
Up paper. I love both companies very much.
I stamped the packages on the printed paper
and cardstock to make them pop a little.
Smile is from the stamp Petal Pushers by
SU. And last but not least the flowers are
from American Crafts. They are plastic
but very cool. They fit in with this card right
away. Okay, dinner is cooked and cleaned up.
So, I am off to create a couple more cards.

BELLA!!! Here is my latest! I made this for a Swap too. I have not received the cards back yet. I can't wait to see them all.

This is a card that I did for a Polka Dot Paisley Swap.
I had a lot of fun making it. Of course I used some of my
favorite colors. Close to Cocoa and Bashful Blue. You can't see it in this photo but I used stickles again and a pop dot on the Paisley. I got a lot of fun cards back from this swap. I may have to case a few and post them.

I made this card for a friend of mine. The paper is from The Slab at ACmoore. I colored my bunny using Prismas and Gamsol. I need to start stamping some cards with some of my NEW sets.

I better get stamping!! I have a free day today YAY!!!
